A NEW LOOK FOR MURAD

BRIEF
As part of the new refurbishment programme within the Beauty Department of Selfridges, Trafford Park, Manchester, Murad contacted Index to help them in the design and build of a ‘new fresh look’ for the brand within the dynamic space.

SOLUTION
Working closely with the Brand and Consultants on the Counter we were able to understand the needs of the end user as well as the Store directives for the new site. Using premium materials including Solid Surface fabrication, Glass and LED Screens we were able to create a clean, bright counter that allows for maximum product display and merchandising whilst at the same time provide running water facilities to allow a comprehensive range of beauty treatments to be carried out.
LED lighting to the front of the counter, around the mirrors and on the backwall, ensure that the site is visible from all areas of the Department. With remote update solutions to the LED screens, the Brand is able to keep the site up to date with the latest news and promotions. The raised mirrors to the Counter allow Clients undergoing treatments privacy whilst they relax in the comfort of the Spa Chairs. A fully working sink ensures there are no delays in the treatments offered.
Additional storage to the base of the back wall units and under counter allows for stock to be replaced easily whilst maintaining a clean, tidy counter at all times.
A special ‘Exclusive to Selfridges’ area was created at the front of the site ensuring that customers do not miss these special offers. With the addition of glass displays, this area is also a prime location for promotional products and new product launches.
