MURAD MAKE A STAND FOR BEAUTY
MURAD – PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY EXHIBITION – EXCEL LONDON
Murad Skincare were appearing at The Professional Beauty Show in London, Excel and wanted to create a new stand to showcase their products. The exhibit would be a stand alone feature and form an independant solus island location for visitors. Murad asked Index DFE to help them design and build an eyecatching, highly visible working space that allowed them dedicated areas for a variety of activities during the show whilst promoting their award winning skincare range.

We worked closely with the client to first obtain their key objectives and requirements for the show, including their desired outcomes. Using this insight and our vast experience of working with other premium beauty brands, we were able to design and develop various concepts for the client to choose from. We also provided them with a full solution that also included project management, build and installation.
The location and stand size at 16m x 5m required us to make sure that the stand was visible from all four corners and walkways. To maximise the stand space and impact we designed an angled structure that allowed for high branding and the ability for visitors to walk between the overhead sections. The Murad logo was then backlit to create a dramatic effect that would be visible at distance.
We used a white high gloss finish thoughout the stand space to create a fresh, clean, clinical look and feel.
The support columns gave us the perfect canvas to apply branding and display areas. We placed large LED lightboxes throughout the space to give extra impact to key messages and images, this also provided extra light on the stand too.
Within the columns we also added additional storage capacity that enabled the Murad team to store show collatoral and products. Equally, we created dedicated display areas inset into the columns, these were also downlit to give more impact and help highlight the products within.
The angled structure also lent itself to creating clearly defined zones for the staff to use, including reception areas, a treatment area with flexible seating around and a customer lounge area for private meetings.
All finishes were part of the Murad in store global image with accents of colour in the images, testers and furnishings throughout the stand.
The show was a complete success for Murad. The stand provided extra space for more visitors and the display areas were highly effective in showcasing the products to their customers.
